Our vision is the make, equip, and send mature disciples of Jesus Christ. The path we're on as we follow Jesus is called discipleship. We study the Scriptures and tradition of our faith, we pray and worship, and we participate in God's mission in the world.

Formation
The purpose of the Christian Formation office in the Episcopal Diocese of Upper South Carolina is to serve as a resource to congregations in Making, Equipping and Sending Mature Disciples into the world to Serve Christ not only with our lips, but in our lives.

In recognition of our baptismal covenant, the Constitution and Canons of the Episcopal Church provide guidelines for ministry of the people of God. The canons require each diocese to make provision for the affirmation and development of the ministry of all baptized persons, including assistance in understanding that all baptized persons are called to minister in Christ's name, to identify their gifts with the help of the Church and to serve Christ’s mission at all times and in all places.
