Middle School Connect Reflection

This year, we all had to learn to adapt to changing circumstances as our worlds were turned upside down by the COVID-19 pandemic. Going into the new year after not having youth programming in the fall, we knew we, too, would need to adapt in order to stay connected with our youth community. And thus, “Connect” was developed.

After a fun High School Connect, it was middle school's turn to get in on the virtual action. Our guiding theme was about peace and believing as we read about Jesus appearing to his disciples after the resurrection. We also played icebreaker games and had a scavenger hunt!

This small but mighty gathering was a fun opportunity to meet some new people and dive into scripture, all in two hours! Even though we weren’t together to experience an in-person retreat, we were able to take two hours out of our weekend to rest, learn, play, and pray.
